Khachapuri

Khachapuri - a dish of Georgian cuisine, which is acake with cheese. The name comes from the words "bread" (puri) and "cottage cheese" (hacho). There are many species. Adzharian khachapuri are baked in the form of a boat and filled with eggs. Imeretian khachapuri are round. Mengrel is also round, but topped with cheese (suluguni). In Armenia baked khachapuri puffed in the form of an envelope or a triangle.



1 packet of cottage cheese (250 g) mixed with meltedbutter (150 g), add a pinch of soda, extinguished with citric acid or vinegar, 1/4 tbsp. sugar, 1 egg. In the resulting homogeneous mass pour 1.5 tbsp. flour and knead the dough. For the filling, grate 150 g of cheese, mix cheese with egg and 1 spoon of sour cream, add finely chopped clove of garlic. The dough is divided into 2 parts and rolled in the form of round cakes. On the bottom cake to lay out the filling, the edges of the top cake to bend under the bottom. Top with an egg and pierced in several places with a fork. Bake for 45 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees.
