How to cook sweet and sour meat in Chinese. Recipe for the New Year with a photo
The other day my best friend came back from China. Except bright impressions and original gifts under the New Year tree, she brought recipes of deliciously delicious meat, which will decorate our festive table. I always wondered how to cook meat in Chinese. And now I hasten to share these, as it turned out, simple recipes with you.
Meat in sweet and sour sauce in Chinese
Necessary ingredients:
Beef - 0,5 kg
Flour - 3 tbsp. l.
Soy sauce - 1 bottle
Onion - 3 pcs.
Tomato paste - 140 g
Sugar - 5 tsp
Salt, pepper, basil dried
Water - 200 g
Cooking method:
We cut beef with thin plates.
We prepare the marinade: mix half a bottle of soy sauce with three tablespoons of flour. Stir, add to meat and leave for 15 minutes.
Cut the onions rings, fry in sunflower oil until golden brown.
We take the meat, put it in a frying pan, fry it.
Prepare the tomato sauce: in the tomato paste, add five teaspoons of sugar and one pinch of salt, all mixed.
Switch the meat to medium heat, add fried onions, then tomato sauce, mix everything.
Then add basil, salt and pour 200 g of water.
All mixed and stew until thick.
After that, cover everything with a lid and leave it for 7 minutes at low heat until it is ready.
Finished meat in Chinese decorate with greens and served on the table.
Such meat will be perfectly combined with rice or potatoes.
Meat in battered Chinese
Necessary ingredients:
Pork or chicken - 400-500 g
Flour - 1 glass
Starch - 1 tbsp. l.
Water - ½ cup
Egg yolk - 2 pieces
Soda - ½ tsp.
Soy sauce - 1 glass
Salt, ground pepper
Vegetable oil
Cooking method:
We cut meat into thin brusochki.
Add salt, pepper and soy sauce. Other spices to taste.
We put it for half an hour in the refrigerator.
We prepare the batter: to 1 glass of flour add 1 tablespoon of starch, 2 egg yolks and a half teaspoon of hydrated soda. Mix everything with a mixer.
We pan the meat in flour.
We dip the meat in the batter.
On the heated frying pan pour oil, add a pinch of salt and a little onions.
After one minute we remove the onion from the frying pan.
Spread the meat in a frying pan.
Fry on high heat, quickly turn the meat so that it does not burn.
Another original recipe, where instead of the traditional pineapple, a cucumber is used.
Sweet and sour meat in Chinese
Necessary ingredients:
Pork - 300 g
Carrots - 1 pc
Onion - 1 pc.
Cucumber pickled - 1 piece
Garlic - 2-3 cloves
Sweet and sour soy sauce - 100 g
Starch - 2 tbsp. l.
Sugar - 3 tsp.
Salt - 1 tsp.
Sweet pepper - 1 pc
Tomato paste or ketchup - 100 g
Cooking method:
We cut meat with straw.
Pour meat sauce and marinate for 30 minutes.
While the meat is marinated, we clean and cut the vegetables with straw.
We cook the claret: mix the starch with sugar, add cold water and mix everything.
Fill the meat with batter and mix.
We pour oil on the frying pan, put a few cloves of garlic and then lay out the meat.
Fry the meat for 5 minutes.
In a separate frying pan fry onions, carrots, peppers and cucumber.
After the water is boiled off, continue to fry for another 2 minutes, then add the tomato paste and half a cup of water.
Add the remaining egg yolk and soy sauce and stew for a couple of more minutes.
In the vegetable mix, add the meat, mix, throw a clove of garlic and stew for a couple of minutes.
Ready-made sweet and sour meat in Chinese is served with a garnish or as an independent dish.
As you can see, the principle of cooking is the same: meat is marinated, then fried in a special batter, based on starch, water, sugar and salt. Only some ingredients, spices, vary in the same way. One thing remains unchanged: light, but at the same time nourishing meat, preserving all its useful qualities.
