Kish with spinach and broccoliKish is a traditional French open pie. This is not a dessert - the classic kish is made from chopped shortcake with egg, milk and cheese filling and smoked bacon. Country Soviets offers another New Year recipe - vegetarian kish with spinach and broccoli. This vegetable dish will certainly have to taste the owner of 2011 - Rabbit!






Kish with spinach and broccoli



In order to bake a kish with spinach and broccoli, you will need the following ingredients:



  • 250 g of wheat flour

  • 125 g of butter

  • 150 g of curd cheese (for example, ricotta)

  • 100 grams of hard cheese (for example, cheddar)

  • 100 g spinach

  • 100 grams of broccoli

  • 80 ml cream

  • 60 ml of water

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 bunch of green onions

  • salt, pepper - to taste



Chop the flour and butter. Add the yolk, salt, pour in 3 tbsp. l. water and knead short pastry. Put the dough in the form, do not forget to form the sides. Bake the dough for about a quarter of an hour - it should become dry and lightly brown.



Finely chop the green onions. Boil the broccoli until half cooked. Frozen spinach defrost, fresh - rinse and finely chop. Lightly beat the curd cheese, pour the cream into it and beat the eggs. Hard cheese grate and add to the curd cheese together with vegetables and onions. Salt and pepper the stuffing, mix thoroughly.



Lay the filling on the base of the dough and bake until done (it will take about 25 minutes). Finished bowl is served slightly chilled.
